Emilio has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Intercontinental University . Long before finishing his career, Emilio was already dedicating full time to the profession of architect. This experience allowed him to stand out in his studies, obtaining among others the following awards:
- Second place in the theoretical area at the IV National Meeting of Architecture Students, ASINEA 1992
- Diploma 'For Outstanding Development as a Student', College of Architects of Mexico , 1993
- Medal and Diploma 'For the Best Student in Mexico' Diario de México and Presidency of the Republic , 1993
- Honorable Mention for the thesis 'Regional Center for Social Rehabilitation in Jiutepec, Morelos' Intercontinental University , 1996
Seeking to refine his skills, Emilio emigrated to Canada in 1997, where he remained until 2002, essentially dedicated to architectural and interior design for the award-winning firm LeBlond Partnership Architects & Planners participating in important projects such as the renovations of the Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs hotels, from the renowned Canadian hotel chain Fairmont Hotels. . Emilio returned to Mexico at the end of 2002, as general manager of Desarrollo Integral de Planificación (DIPSA) , a design and supervision company, where he participated in several projects for the Bank of Mexico. .
In 2007 Emilio founded BFC Architects, S.C., to provide management, coordination, and supervision services for high-quality works and projects to the Mexican market.
Other studies he has completed include the Diploma in Comprehensive Real Estate Administration, and the Diploma in Administration, Planning, and Evaluation of Investment Projects, both at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies , Mexico City Campus.
